If it is true that we lost her traces for ages, it is also true that we hadn't forgotten her. So as she called me proposing her candidature as Rock Girl of the month, well…what do you think? Could I refuse? Hi Pink! It's been a long time we don't have the chance to talk a bit. I remember you were planning a tour including Italian dates and finally here you are! What can you tell us about your recent shows in Italy in May? How did you find people's reactions to them and which one has been the best in your opinion?
We did ten weeks on the last tour! Eight countries! It was a rock'n'roll dream. To see the world and meet people playing music is my dream. Finland, Estonia, Sweden, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, and of course, Italy! Each country had its own unique people and crazy rock crowds, but Italy was amazing! The rockers in Italy are true die hard music lovers and appreciative of rock n roll! We were in Italy two weeks, and had many good shows from the North to near the South. I loved playing at the Transilvania clubs, especially in Reggio Emilia and Civitanova Marche where there were a lot of people that really got into the show, yelling, and screaming, dancing and partying (the way it should be at a rock show!). I also loved Buddha Club in Orzinuovi (Bs), because the stage and lights were great and so was the staff, as well as a great audience!

Now let's talk soon about your last work entitled "Porn Again". I won't ask you about the main differences between the former EP "Pink Inside" and this new album, because it's obvious that the band which was already good then, has become even better today, but I'm questioning more about the new songs. What can you tell us about them? Where did you take the inspiration from and which one is your favourite and why?
The new album has more great rock anthems such as "Naked", "Size Queen" and "38D", and since it is our first full length album we really packed in our favourites! It is the climax of being on the road and seeing audience reactions put to life in the songs people loved! The inspiration comes from our fan's reactions, our lifestyle as a band, and the wild times we have lived and live now in a sex and rock' n' roll ! Like a scene out of an 80's metal video, or backstage at a KISS concert in '76, or Poison in '86, when people wanted to live life to have fun and be entertained. I am also inspired by my own personal sex life…

I know that there's been some changing in the line-up. Do you wanna introduce us the new drummer? Besides, I know you've realized a video for the hit "Naked." Do you wanna tell us something about that?
Our new drummer will be introduced to the world on the next European tour! We search long and hard before we officially enter someone new into the Erocktica family…The video for "Naked" is not yet released…we are still editing. Rumour has it that we may have it on the end of our first DVD as a bonus video!

Since you're going to return on Italian stages, I can't help asking you if you've already prepared some new hot gag for your upcoming European invasion. Would you mind to tell us at least a bit about what should we expect to see? If you like I can ask it praying on my knees (laughs).
Oh now baby, a girl never gives away her secrets! You'll have to cum to the show and see what we have planned!

Pink, tours are often long and they tear you playing in so many places! How do you keep your energies to give always your best at every show every given night? I suppose it's not easy to act on a stage till dawn and start it all over again the next day!
It's very hard! To make sure that every night is great, I treat each day new. It is important that every audience in every town gets the best we have. Each day I exercise before a show. If I have no access to a gym I go running. It gets my blood pumping. I drink tons of water, and do vocal warm-ups. After all that I take a bubble bath, listen to some of my favourite bands, and look in the mirror and think to myself: "How lucky am I to be on tour and have people come to see me perform?". Then I realize that I am a rock star and get on the stage and give the best I have!

Now Pink, be ready for a freaky question: you bring some erotic and pornographic hints in rock'n'roll fields and undoubtedly your body and your sex appeal could help in rising people attention to your band and your sound. But I dare say that there are no such big differences between your charming figure and the ones of male sex symbols like Bret Michaels or Sebastian Bach, who besides their artistic qualities, have been also considered really cute guys by lots of girls. What do you think about this strange comparison? Do you share my point of view?
I agree! I think the hot guys you have mentioned are sex symbols too! Maybe they don't take their clothes off like we do, but they scream of sex! And Bret Michaels is very into fitness, like I am. I am certified personal fitness trainer in the US. At times, people have often called me "Bretta Michaels"! What a compliment! He is so sexy and hard as a rock!

Thinkin' to the past I can't help mentioning other ladies on the rock scene such as Lita Ford, Samantha Fox, Joan Jett, Texas Terry, Wendy O. Williams, Exene Cervenka, Share Pedersen, etc. Is there any female artist you've taken inspiration from or that you esteem particularly? Why?
You just name a couple friends of mine, namely Share Pederson and Texas Terri! You named my favourites! Also I take inspiration from 60's European film sex kittens, and the Goddess Marilyn Monroe's softness and sexuality that balances with the hard rock edge!

When I interviewed you the first time you told me, if I'm not wrong, that you would have liked to include two covers on your next album which should have been "Naughty Girls Need Love Too" by Samantha Fox and "Touch Myself" by Divynils. But looking at "Porn Again" tracklist I can't see these titles. Why did you decide to give up to them?
We have covered both! Live only, and they work out great! We decided on our first album to do originals only, since we had so many to choose from. We have also recorded a pop rock punk version of Kiss's "Rock And Roll All Night", which is unreleased still, but the future has a lot in store for Erocktica!

Recently I've been noticing a sort of improvement in the state of health of the rock'n'roll scene almost everywhere in the world. It seems that a new interest is rising in the new generations. Is there a band today you think deserves attention more than the others for some reasons? Which band would you like to attract our readers attention on?
I listen to a lot of LA rock, and underground NY bands. I like Motochrist and Beautiful Creatures, and from NY I love an underground band called Banana Fish Zero.

Talking about reunions, what do you think about the one of Twisted Sister and Dee Snider?
Hey, we love Twisted Sister, and even cover "I Wanna Rock"! That's an anthem! So let them play!

Pink, I suppose you should know what P.M.R.C. was. If I'm not wrong, this typical American phenomenon helped many bands to reach high levels of fame, even though its purposes were completely different. As a paradox, the more they censored some bands and their music, the more those same bands sold out records! It happened to the W.A.S.P. for example and to many other groups. Today I think something similar is happening to Marilyn Manson. In your case have you ever had problems with censorship? And in this case, have there been more positive or more negative aspects concerning your fame and career?
Censorship is wrong. As our website says: Erocktica's foundation lies in the fundamental right of freedom of expression, and intolerance of censorship. I love Marilyn Manson - I think he is talented and creative. Art's censorship chips away at our freedom as individuals. We had one horrible experience. We were to be booked New Year's Eve at a famous hotel in Las Vegas and were cancelled right before because the promoters were worried to be associated with us! On the other side, we do enjoy lots of opportunities because we don't censor, and that allows us to see the world touring with sex and rock'n'roll!

Pink, let's talk now about a phenomenon which is strictly linked to the rock world: groupies. There are lots of websites in which some of them report the punctual description of their sexual affairs with famous and infamous rockstars. What do you think about these women and are you pro or against all this?
Are you serious? I think this is great! Groupies are a part of the rock'n'roll lifestyle! I would like a few, each night, on tour-male and female. I think groupies can be male too! Just ask the winners of the Pink prize in Reggio Emilia! Let them shower the world with sex, spread their stories, and enjoy the lifestyle that is rock'n'roll! I am the biggest groupie that ever lived!

Pink do you have some rituals to help fortune before going on stage? And please, a personal curiosity: can you tell me where did you find that funny pink phallic soft toy I saw in some pics of your live performances?
Rituals (besides my daily tour routine) include getting a back massage from a band member so I can be as loose as possible, and drinking 2 shots of Jack Daniels when it's available! I sleep with my legs wrapped around my big pink fur cock every night. It was a gift from an admirer…

Which has been the best and most exciting moment you lived with Erocktica and which one has been instead the worst?
The best was playing for over 3000 people at a festival in Holland, walking down the street in Barcelona, and seeing my picture plastered all over the street walls, and stepping off the plane in Italy for the first time. The worst was being so exhausted on the road that I lost my voice and 4 shows sick.
