Hi Exploders! This funny report is the result of the little time spent with the front lady of Naked Beggars. The charming Inga confesses to "The Rock Explosion" her love for Joan Jett and her passion for Elvis, revealing us unexpected relationships, not just musically speaking, with the golden age of the 80s' hard rock. The most part of you won't remain indifferent in reading the surname of this beautiful singer who is the sweetheart of "such" Eric Brittingham, bassist of the great and unforgettable band of "Shake Me". For all those who still have no idea of which band I'm referring to and also for the ones who instead have already pumped up the volume of their stereo on that song, here there is a nice interview with the new lady of rock'n'roll!

Hi Inga and welcome to "The Rock Explosion" with Naked Beggars. Listening to your homonymous album, I've been really impressed by your voice pure and loud but also raw enough when the song needs it. So I was wondering, who's been the female singer who influenced you the most till now?
Hmmm! That is a hard one! I think what happened is that I enjoy a wide variety of things and I hate to say it, but a shit load of influences! Everyone from Joan Jett to Madonna! I know you didn't want to hear that one but I gotta tell the truth! (laughs)...

More in general, which band or artist has mostly contributed to make you become a rocker?
Again, you couldn't ask me a harder question. But you know I was big into "Gun's N Roses" so, I definitely could say them. Kinda evil and sexy at the same time!

Can you make a brief track by track excursus of your album, explaining the inspiration source and the meaning of some songs?
Okay!
"No More": Inspiration, suck ass boyfriend. I guess at the time, I didn't know what the hell he wanted!
"Fallen": Inspiration, same suck ass boyfriend. He sucked me into his chaotic world!
"Bitch": Inspriration, same suck ass boyfriend. Lotta good material from him!! (laughs)... This song is self explanatory!
"Open Eyes": Inspiration, freedom to think for myself!!!
"Wake Me": Inspiration, the wild early life I led!!!
"Got Me Runnin": Inspiration, I was just in a mood for this one! Kinda salsa! Weird, just like me!
"Wastin' Time":Kris wrote this one, you would have to ask him, but I think that was his suck ass girlfriend that was the inspiration!! (laughs)...
"Kind Of Girl": Kind of in my punk stage here! Oh, I love this sleazy kind of play on words! You gotta read the lyrics!!
"Discombobulated":Eric wrote this one! He is so very sensitive!! (laughs)! Cool ballad, though, for real!!
"Crazy": I hate to go back to the suck ass boyfriend but it does!!

Is there any song of yours you like the most, and if so, could you explain us the reason?
I love "Bitch". It is my favourite because it's raw, sexy, fun and loud! Brings out the best in me!!!

Personally I prefer "Crazy," because of its rawer sound, the guitar riffs and also because of your skills in singing it. It's kind of technically difficult I think. And I also love "Open Eyes" a very beautiful ballad. But I was wondering, which of your songs works at best during your live shows?
"Crazy " is pretty cool live! But, since we have recently added a keyboard player, I think that "Open Eyes" will be fantastic! But you would have to ask someone who watches the show!!

Why did you choose to include in the album a remix of "Bitch"? I find also kind of funny the lines in which you sing "I'm not your Cinderella bitch babe." is there a sort of autobiographical hint in these words?
Here's what happened, Eric was working on that song as a dance mix. It was actually his first song completed before we started the actual album. I loved it, so there it is! And of course, it's not for everyone! But, the album is very mixed as you may know! We have something for everyone!

Among the members of your band there is Eric at the bass, who is also the producer. How is it working with him and sharing the stage with a man who has such a deep importance both in your private life and in your career? Is he also working on some new Cinderella material?
Oh, lord, I could go on for hours... But really it is cool to work with someone you are with! It definitely makes you a lot closer! As for new Cinderella material, I know that Tom is working on a solo project. But the guys have not recently worked on anything together! Unfortunately! Because
they are such a great team!

Which is the last album you bought? Is there any band today you particularly admire and would like to play with?
I have not bought any CD's lately, except for a couple of older ones I was joining for! But I actually wouldn't mind buying "Jet". I love the CD. It is absolutely cool!

Before entering on stage is there some band ritual you use to do, or do you bring with you some object which you feel particularly linked to? In fewer words are you kind of superstitious?
No superstitions! Maybe a beer is an object I might feel particularly linked to!!! (laughs)...

Can you tell us some anecdote or something particularly odd happened during one of your gigs?
No, but usually one of the guys will hit me with their guitars and the drummer will throw a stick at me!!

What's your opinion about internet? And above all, what do you think about exchanging music on-line, sharing mp3 files and so on? Which are the best and the worst aspects of the net?
Share away! Just keep buying the CDs. I love the net, it helps me a lot! Worst aspect is viruses!

Have you still got a dream unrealised? If it is so and if I may ask, what is it about?
Yeah, a shit load! I just want to keep writing, singing, performing, it will never stop! I did recently write a children's book- kinda strange, huh? But, we have songs to it as well. And will someday soon make a cool little book. Don't ask my why, I don't have any children myself!

Being a cool looking girl in the rock scene: the two faces of the coin. Did you find any problem in being a female rocker?
Not yet! But some musician guys don't like to play with chicks, so yeah, they are buttholes! But, do they know me? Noooo! They just don't want to play with a chick! Oh well, all the guys in this band are sweet and cool! And now we have a female keyboardist!!! And she is the bomb! And man, does she look hot!!! (That is for all you guys).

I suppose that you've been asked this question more than once, so if you prefer not to answer, feel free to do it. I was wondering if being a Brittingham is a sort of heavy burden for your career or is it instead a good visiting card?
It's always a curse, just kidding!! I am proud to be married to this guy! Not only can he produce but he can play too! (laughs)... He didn't know what he was in for when he married me!

Favourite drink and movie and your top 5 album of all times...
Oh, if my friends see this question they will laugh! As my mood changes , so does my taste for alcohol! I am not schitzo, I swear! But I am pretty damn close! Love beer, love wine, love Jager, love Bloody Mary's, shit , just give it to me and I'll drink it! Top five albums, in no particular order: Guns'n'Roses - "Appetite for Destruction", Duran Duran... All of them, Tesla... All of them also, BuckCherry "Time Bomb", Billy Idol - "Rebel Yell"!

Now a silly gaming question: just add adjectives and/or comments near the following words:
Janis Joplin: Hippie!
Doro Pesch: ?
Lita Ford: Didn't get laid, got in a fight!
Cinderella: Gold digger!
Snow White: Midget fetish...
Little Red Riding Hood: Dumb bitch!
Sleeping Beauty: Deadly morning breath!
Three Little Pigs: Pulled pork!

Ok Inga, this interview is almost done, so let's introduce a hotter question before the end (but you're free to not answer!) Is there any rocker (apart from Eric, of course) you find really very attracting, or particularly charming or seducing?
Oh, my!!!! Actually I would have to say Elvis, because he was and always will be the coolest!!

Well Mrs. Brittingham, thank you so much for having answered our questions. The interview is over and now you have free room to send greetings, insults or to say everything you like to our readers.
First off, I would love to thank you for the interview and tell everyone to keep checking our site for tour dates and new merch!!! We are all excited about starting our tour in June. And we won't stop till we reach you!!!
